Imagine The Flaming Lips, Tom Waits, The Eels, Clem Snide, Jad Fair etc. All on the same project! Disk one contains the covers and there are some great ones. Disk two contains the originals.

As a huge Daniel Johnson fan I have to confess that the originals are still my favorite versions. There is something completely haunting and sincere and urgent in the way Daniel writes and sings.
